Melting Rising Character Guide (English)

🏆 What is a Rising Character?

A Rising Character is Melting’s program to promote outstanding characters. The operations team selects Rising Characters based on strong, well-crafted settings and positive user response.

A single creator can be selected multiple times with different characters.

🎁 Benefits when selected

Benefit	Details
💰 4,000 Con advance	When a character is selected as a Rising Character, 4,000 Cons are advanced to that character. These Cons are automatically deducted from the character’s future earnings, which come from Cons spent by users.
However, even if the character does not earn 4,000 Cons in revenue, there is no penalty to the creator.
🔁 Additional 5% revenue share	The creator receives an additional 5% of the Cons spent by users through the character.
Example: If a user spends 6,000 Cons → 300 Cons are paid out
Free Cons and Cons spent by the creator themself are excluded from this payout.
📢 Priority placement in recommendations	The character is shown to more users with a Rising badge across in-app character lists and recommendation pages.
👥 Rising Creator–only community	Creators selected for Rising Characters are invited to a dedicated Discord community, where creators can connect and share information.

Currently, this is operated via communication with a Creator PD and will be developed into a broader community in the future. |

📌 Selection criteria

Only public characters are eligible.
After finishing character creation, you can apply directly via the final toggle on the creation page.
The operations team comprehensively evaluates character quality, user response, and fit with the setting, combining quantitative and qualitative data to select Rising Characters.

🚫 Limits on switching to private

Once selected as a Rising Character, the character must remain public for a set period and switching to private is restricted.
This ensures minimum standards for recommended exposure and protects the user experience.

If all conditions below are met, switching to private is allowed:

The character has achieved revenue of 4,000 Cons or more
At least 3 months have passed since selection

Even if the above conditions are not met, if there are unavoidable reasons such as a settings reset or sensitive issues, you may switch to private after discussing with the operations team.

🔒 Notes on changing character settings

Rising Characters are operated based on the prompt (settings) at the time of selection. (To be applied in the future) This standard is in place to protect the experience of users who remember and return to the character.

That said, the creator always has the final say over the character’s settings. If changes are needed, the operations team will coordinate with the creator’s intentions as the top priority, considering both the creative direction and service context to support better outcomes.
