Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are intended to set forth the conditions of use for the AI character chatbot service “Melting” (including the mobile app, website, and other platforms, hereinafter the “Service”) operated by Watney Inc. (the “Company”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Members and the Company.

Melting is a Service that allows users to create their own AI characters and experience emotional exchanges through conversations with those characters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The main terms used in these Terms are defined as follows.

  1. “Service”: The content platform based on AI character creation and interaction provided by the Company.
  2. “Member”: A person who agrees to these Terms, signs up for the Service, and uses Melting’s features.
  3. “Account”: The email-based identification information created by a Member to log in to the Service.
  4. “AI Character”: A virtual, text-based entity that a Member creates or configures and can interact with.
  5. “Cone”: A unit of points used to access certain features within the Service, which are granted and deducted according to the operating policy. Details are not covered in these Terms and are governed by a separately established “Cone Policy.”
  6. “Post”: All materials such as text, images, and character settings that a Member creates or uploads while using the Service.
  7. Terms not defined herein follow relevant laws and general service usage practices.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

  1. These Terms take effect from the time a user completes the registration process and agrees to them.
  2. The Company posts these Terms within the Service in a manner that allows users to easily view them.
  3. The Company may amend these Terms to reflect relevant laws, policy changes, or Service improvements, and will give prior notice at least seven (7) days in advance, or thirty (30) days in advance in the case of material changes.
  4. Members have the right not to agree to the amended Terms; in such cases, they may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw.
  5. If a Member continues to use the Service after the amended Terms apply without raising objections, the Member is deemed to have agreed to the amendments.
